I am a psychotherapist and contemporary psychoanalyst, who graduated from Fordham University Graduate School of Social Services, where I obtained my Masters in Social Work. After graduation, I worked at several outpatient mental health clinics, where I honed my therapeutic skills and had the honor of working with a diverse array of people. I helped those struggling with depression, anxiety, and addiction, establish meaningful relationships, work through destructive behavioral patterns, excel professionally, overcome loss and grief, and develop a stronger sense of self.
As a therapist, I believe that my training is never done, so I pursued postgraduate training at the National Institute for the Psychotherapies. There I attended their 4 Year Intensive Adult Training Program in Psychoanalysis and Comprehensive Psychotherapy.
I am an active member of Executive Committee of National Institute for the Psychotherapies’ Alumni Association where I help organize and run continuing education programs for psychotherapists. I am also a member of the National Association of Social Workers.
My goal is to help you move toward a more authentic self that will enable you to experience a more meaningful life. I work collaboratively in a warm, yet challenging way to help you explore the issues that are blocking your path to an overall sense of wellbeing.
